Children under 6 are not allowed anywhere around the lakes.
Children from 6-12 must be accompanied with by an adult and both must be fishing.
Fishery closed to the public from Sept to April 1st.

Facilities:
Established in 2007 Lochmahon facilities include:
3 springfed lakes, private free car park, bait and tackle shop, picnic/bbq area, tea, coffee, snacks, toilet and shower, fishing lessons by request, wheelchair acc.

Open everyday to experienced anglers and members only.
All fishing must be booked in advance.
Specimen Carp Anglers:
Per 12 hr session, (sessions 9 am/pm and vacated by 8am/pm)
Adults €18 juniors u16 €15.
Fishing Lessons 2026
Fishing lessons will commence April 2026, for all ages from 10 upwards. Classes from 11am – 3pm with a lunch break from 1pm -1.30pm. The classes cover rod setup, casting, retrieving, landing and handling fish safely, baits, various Match fishing methods, method feeders, floats etc.
Classes for complete beginners up to experienced anglers.
All equipment supplied.
Minimum group size – two, maximum five.

Anglers only around the lakes, guests by prior arrangement only.
People who break the rules will be asked to leave with no refund.

You must remain on your allocated peg area unless you get permission to move.
Families/children are only allowed on pegs 1 to 6 at the front.
Fish must be taken from the water with the aid of a landing net, landing nets must be kept in the stands at all times.
Fish must be carefully handled and returned to the lake. Size 10 or smaller barbless hooks only. 1 rod per person.
Strictly no Dogs allowed.
Strictly no fish may be taken home.
